SA TRAVEL COUNSELLORS CAN WIN A LUXURY CAR
Date published 02.07.2012
TRAVEL Counsellors has introduced its in-house TC Score programme in South Africa to gauge client satisfaction and loyalty. It also gives feedback to travel counsellors and the company on individual and company performance. The scheme is already in place in the UK and other international markets.
It is based on best-selling business author, Fred Reichheld’s Net Promoter Score system. Within seven days of booking, leisure clients are asked how likely it is that they would recommend their TC, rated from one to 10. Corporate clients are surveyed every six months.
Travel Counsellors Managing Director, Steve Byrne, said the programme had resulted in a continuous score of more than 90 percent across the company and was reflected in the high level of repeat business experienced by the company’s TCs.
The TC with the highest score receives a new luxury car at the company’s annual conference, a prize for which South African TCs can now qualify. This year’s winner from the UK won a Mercedes SLK convertible.
